FAQ and Policies


Why should you choose us?
Because we rock! No, really, we are an awesome group of photographers who will make you have fun while we take your pics! And an added bonus is that we won't tell you how long we've been around or how awesome we are. Just know that you'll get great photos with us!

How do I book a photo shoot?
First you will take a look at our price list and decide which package you want. Then you hop over to our booking form and fill it out. Once you send it in, we will contact you as soon as possible to set up your appointment. Please keep in mind 50% of the photo package is due to confirm your booking with the remainder due when your photo shoot session is complete. 

How do the photos arrive?
All photos are sent either in world or via email and are sent with full permissions. No modifications will be made after photos are chosen and delivered. Please note that all photos taken by Paramour Studios™ Staff are property of the studio and may be used for advertising or display unless you indicate otherwise at the time of booking. 

What do I do if I need to change my appointment/package/specifications about the photos?
Message your photographer or sales representative as soon as you know! Giving us ample time to adjust plans makes everyone happy and will save you extra fees. 

Can I get a specific photographer to do my photos?
Of course! In our booking form, you can choose one photographer, or a few you like, or you can roll the dice and see who is available!

What if I want you to replicate a photo I saw in your gallery?
All Photographs on display in the gallery are meant to serve as sample of our quality. To preserve the unique quality of our clients' photographs, we will not duplicate gallery items with your avatar; however, we are happy to use your favorites as a guide/inspiration for creating a piece that is distinctly yours.

How long will it take to receive my photos?
Depending on the amount of pictures you have chosen, the delivery time may vary from 96 hours up to two weeks. If you need photos by a specific date, please communicate that at the time or booking and may be subject to a rush fee.

What is your refund policy?
Deposits are non-refundable. If there is an error from the studio, we will happily discuss a refund with you before any images are delivered. Once total package price has been paid and photos delivered, there will be no refunds whatsoever. 

What happens if Second Life throws a fit and I can't log in/the sim is down?
If SL is “down”, we will reschedule as soon as possible.  There is no fee for this. However, all other issues that Second Life may cause are not the responsibility of Paramour Studios™.

I want to have my photos taken at this sim I love!
Location shoots are wonderful treats for photographers and clients alike, but you are responsible for any fees associated with using the location (group access fee/rez right fee/etc.) and please remember that many sims do not allow rezzing of poses so you will be limited to your own HUD.

Anything else I should know?
We are happy to bring your vision to life with poses, props, scenery, and location shoots. However, shoots that require props/poses not already owned by the studio/photographers may result in an additional fee or you may provide them yourself. Shoots that require excessive prep time (elaborate sets) will require a minor set up fee. If this may apply to your shoot, you will be warned at the time of booking.
